Although having proper nutrition and eating right, etc is important, it is definitely not the most important thing for weight loss.  Yes, some people can lose weight by cutting out carbs and stuff, but the weight loss won’t be lasting.  You need carbs in order to have energy and to work out, and working out is essential to true weight loss.  You need to combine a little bit of cardio with more resistance training or weight training.  For the women worried about weight training making them look big and bulky, just focus on lighter weights, and more repetitions.  This will help you to build lean muscle mass, burn fat, and lose weight.

Sports, exercise and physical activities are among the best ways to lose weight. What many people wonder is what is the best sport or weight loss exercise. The quick answer to this question is that all type of sports and exercise are beneficial to weight loss. By exercising or doing some form of physical activity you help your metabolism, you build more muscles (that are used to burn fat) and you provide great assistance to your heart and well being. 3. Jogging

Jogging is another way to lose pounds. It is not as easy as walking but can produce better results. Before starting jogging is recommended to get the approval of your doctor because your heart and body must be able to withstand the extra pressure. You can also combine walking with jogging for better results. For example you can start with 20 minutes walking and then jogging for 20 minutes.

4. Cycling

Cycling is certainly not for the masses. To do cycling you need to have a bicycle and a place to run. If you can meet these requirements and you have the time and courage then this is a great way to exercise and lose weight fast. Of course you can always use the static bicycles available in gyms but running outdoors is much more effective and fun. With cycling the exercise is allocated to various body parts and can help you lose fat in the difficult areas (thumbs and belly).

5. Swimming

Swimming is both an excellent way to exercise and lose weight. With swimming you will lose weight and fat very fast and the most important thing of all you will also look better. Unlike walking or jogging where the results of losing weight are first visible in the scale, with swimming the results are also visual and this will give you great encouragement to continue.
